Common pitfalls

• Underweighting psychological assessment for living donors — living donation carries real psychological as well as physical stakes; skipping or minimizing this section misses genuine risk to the donor's wellbeing.
• Assuming "conditionally suitable" (expanded criteria) donors are automatically lower priority — expanded-criteria donation is a deliberate, clinically managed pathway, not simply a fallback; the distinction is about additional evaluation needs, not automatic deprioritization.
